Ylläs is located in the western side of Lapland 600 miles from Helsinki up North.

My ride started with a bad luck, since the system burned a fuse only less than 10 miles from home. I knew which fuse, but finding the leak took rest of the day. A hint: Always check your own wiring at first. Now the "leak" was so small that I could not see it without my reading glasses. So I restarted my ride next day and I made 600 miles to Ylläs in 14 hours arriving there at 11 pm same evening. The other misfortune was my TomTom Rider which broke down 150 miles from home. So always keep a manual map as a backup (as I did). Still the GPS would have been nice during the trip. I got a replacement after the Rally as warranty.
